Industrial and Especial Projects200 kWp Ground‑Mounted Solar Power Plant
In partnership with UNIDO, CAESL successfully delivered the full engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of a 200 kWp ground‑mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant designed to supply clean, reliable electricity to a large residential settlement. The project combined advanced technical design, rigorous site assessments, and high‑quality construction practices to create a robust renewable‑energy system tailored to local environmental and operational needs.
The project involved the complete lifecycle of a utility‑scale solar installation, including:
- Detailed topographical, geotechnical, and geo‑electrical investigations
- Structural and electrical system design
- Procurement of high‑efficiency bifacial PV modules and utility‑grade inverters
- Civil works, foundations, and steel mounting structures
- AC and DC electrical installation
- Earthing, lightning protection, and safety systems
- Trial run, testing, and commissioning
- Operator training and capacity building
The system was engineered to integrate seamlessly with the settlement’s internal electrical network, supplying the majority of its daytime energy demand.
The plant is expected to generate around 410,500 kWh per year, achieving a Performance Ratio of 85.7%. Most of the energy is consumed on‑site, significantly reducing grid dependence and operational energy costs.
The system avoids nearly 200 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, strengthens energy reliability for the settlement, and reduces long‑term electricity expenditure. CAESL also delivered hands‑on training covering system operation, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure long‑term sustainability.
